A new testimony

What if the Chinmoy experience was the best thing that could happen to us as seekers of the truth?

Here are my presuppositions for this article :
I believe our suffering (and the world’s suffering) comes mostly from what is called cognitive dissonance.
We do not see things as they are. We see things through the filter of our own belief system.
We do not see things that are against our beliefs, or we twist them to make them fit into our belief system.
Things that confirm our beliefs, we see and strengthen.

A year later

I haven’t written about my centre experience for a year. Since I stopped working on this blog. I wrote 41 articles in a month and a half and that was exhausting. Haven’t got the energy to write about it again since. Plus now I am writing in French and it is way easier for me. Someone was asking for articles on an ex-disciple Facebook group. I thought, ‘Oh yes, I should give a story. Maybe I can find one on my blog. ’So I went through my blog and then, ‘Oh God, it is all quite negative and intense. Let’s see if I can write a positive story.' Nothing came, so I wrote this.

India's issue with rape and sexual abuse. The ban of the BBC documentary about Nirbhaya's rape.

This is an article I wrote about some recent events in India. A bit aside from our main subject, but as it is about the indian society it is somehow related. Chinmoy grew up in this culture where free women have to fight every day for their rights.

Nirbhaya was a physiotherapy intern in Delhi. On December 16th, 2012, she went to the movie theater with one of her male friends to see "The Life of Pi". They took a bus to get back home. The two friends were in the bus with six Indian men, including the driver. One of them asked her if they were married. She answered "This is none of your business". This was the fatal answer. For those average Indian men, she turned into a non-human, slutty women.

About the question "In what form do we exist after death ?"

This is my answer to the teasing of a friend for my "hiding" behind someone else's ideas rather than expressing my own ideas to a question I did not like about what in what form do we still exist after death.

A typical manipulation from Chinmoy's

When I joined the centre in 1994, the two persons who had been disciples for the longest time in France were H. and Patsy. They had been disciples for 18 years at this time. H. was the Paris centre leader. H. was a very charismatic and funny person.

"Confession" time

I am sure many of you can guess how much I do not like religions and especially the one I grew up into: catholicism.
But confession if taken the right way is not all bad.

How Chinmoy terminated my free will

In May 1998, I had been a disciple for four years. The restaurant was doing ok, but I was very tired physically and emotionally. The restaurant was draining my energy. I was stressed. I would send this stress to my workers, and of course get it back. I was in a kind of vicious circle and I could not find my way out. I was not at all in a good shape to live the events that followed.
